First Year PhD Student ยท UC Irvine
I am a first-year PhD student at the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Irvine, working on data management. My research broadly focuses on designing efficient, scalable, and adaptable systems for querying and managing large, heterogeneous datasets. I am interested in problems at the intersection of query processing, data modeling, and system architecture, particularly in settings where data is semi-structured, evolving, or distributed. More generally, I aim to build data systems that balance strong theoretical foundations with practical performance, enabling flexible and reliable data analysis in modern, real-world environments.
